This place is a crazy cool. The decor is so old but it was clean and wonderful. The food was excellent too.

I went for lunch with two co-workers. They had the Caesar Salad, one with chicken and I had the chicken parm grinder....... Sub.

They were all really good. The Chicken parm was really juicy and moist, the sauce was yummy and of course I had to have extra cheese...... excellent!!!

Our server was sweet and paid just enough attention. Prices were great!

Will go back the next time I am in town.

We had a nice dinner at Mission on the Bay. The cocktails were nice and strong, the views are very good, and so too is the food. Try the salmon paella-it is quite good.

My husband and I had dinner at Firenze Trattoria last evening after visiting the nearby Peabody Essex Museum. The intimate setting was lovely. The service outstanding. And the food was superb. We shared a crostini appetizer (with four delicious toppings), for entrees my husband had the whole-fish branzino and I had the sumptuous linguini with cod, and we shared a bread pudding dessert. If you love Italian food, don't miss eating at Firenze Trattoria in Salem. Also, a great value! Our bill was less than $100!

I was treated so Rude.... I questioned a product and they barked at me and even blocked me off their Facebook page, very poor management that can't take a customer question. I will never go here again. After speaking with my employees I’ve come to the conclusion, Sometimes it’s the way you ask the question. And the customer is not always right, especially if the customer is rude to begin with. Please go and have a nice day. Sincerely, Paul Delios

Cute and simple, the pastry's are delicious and the staff is super. If I lived local, this would be my choice for coffee runs or cafe lounging.

Lovely restaurant, good service and super food. My husband enjoyed one of the best burgers he has ever had. Would have given five stars but..........the menu is limited (not that we would want it to be huge but a little more extensive would have been nice) and the fact that I chose to have a starter as my main meal (sometimes do that since portions in the States are often too large for me) which was the charcuterie platter - this was nice but I think there should have been more variety of charcuterie, eg some parma ham - all the meats were similar - and the cheese portion was tiny. So would not particularly recommend that. Prices are quite expensive.

We get to Swampscott once a yr and always look forward to Newman's - he bagels are fresh and NY style (do they import the water?), and they have this little egg sandwich thing that we both love. Also coffee that's strong and not foo-foo.
And it's nice to see a family business in today's big box/franchise world.
Stop here if you can!

Four of us went last week and were delighted: Very good food, not real expensive, and an excellent waiter. He was knowledgeable, low key and at all obsequious which is sometimes what one gets. Or "I am here to help you guys" or "Are you still working on that?". No similar comments at all and that was refreshing.

Furthermore the room was really well appointed and presented.

This is the best place for seafood on the North Shore of Boston. The menu is diverse, and the value is there. I have never had a bad meal. The halibut special today was delicious.
