My family and I went here on a Saturday and it was quite busy and lively. Despite this, the service was impeccable, and we got our food quite quickly. For our entree, we had chorizo sausages (a little spicy, but not overpowering). The crab spaghettini was delicious, the pizza was perfect and the array of wines and beers were great. One word of advice: specify whether you'd like to order individual, or share your meals with your guests. The server assumed we were all sharing the meals, rather than ordering individually. Nonetheless, this just allowed us all to enjoy a bit of everything off the menu.
It is expensive, but it is well worth it. Would definitely recommend, and visit again.

Established in 1992, La Ricetta is located in vibrant and cosmopolitan Enmore. During the past 12 years it has earned a reputation for exceptionally high quality, seasonal Italian cuisine with both locals and theatre patrons alike. La Ricetta offers that rare dining experience, combining elegant settings with warm and friendly service. You will feel at home the minute you step through the doors, regardless of whether you're after a pre theatre meal or looking for a more leisurely dining experience. Owner chef, Duncan Florean is a seasoned restaurateur, with over 23 years in the business. He is passionate about high quality fresh produce. Inner West locals have embraced this dining treasure. La Ricetta are happy to host your intimate celebration events including weddings, birthdays, christenings, Christmas parties & anniversaries. They offer a variety of set menus and their diverse selections are sure to impress! 'Come join us for a special meal soon, you will leave asking for "La Ricetta" too!' Duncan
What a great find on Enmore Road 1 minute to Enmore Theatre. Lovely Italian restaurant. Food delicious very home cooked style food, fresh, fast and filling. Entree size meals are still large. Well priced. Very friendly staff and decor is lovely white tablecloths add special touch. We had linguine with Moreton Bay Bugs (fresh), spaghetti bolognese, fettuccine carbonara, herb bread, desserts are a must chocolate fondant and chocolate and hazelnut tart. Definitely recommend this place. Great find.

Visited this restaurant recently for a special dinner and we were not let down. Excellent food and wine and good friendly but not intrusive service.
This restaurant only serves a degustation menu but it is a great experience with lots of different and enjoyable tastes. While each serve is not very big by the end of the night we had enjoyed each course and had eaten quite enough.
We selected the matching wines with our meal and they were different and very enjoyable. They were mainly European which I would not normally try so was an enjoyable together with one very nice South Australian red.
The service was also very good and while they were very efficient, friendly and informative about the food and wine we were receiving they were not intrusive.
Overall a great evening at a very high quality restaurant that I would be glad to visit again.

Efendy means gentleman in old Turkish, but everyone is welcome here. Located on the corner of Darling and Elliott Streets, in a historic sandstone Victorian mansion, Efendy is a modern Turkish restaurant, complete with a basement bar, run by Istanbul-born owner and chef Somer Sivrioglu. The popular restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering authentic Turkish delicacies, using local and sustainable produce, prepared meze style for sharing. Lounge and chat in the dining area, where the walls are covered in Turkish comic book posters, while you graze away on meze which includes baba ghanoush topped with pomegranate or gobsmackingly good, ordek borek, duck, barberries and cinnamon in thin crisp pastry.
Efendy located at 79 Elliott Street, Balmain. NSW Australia. The ambiance was delightful, set in a renovated 2-storey Victorian house, Efendy serves up delicious and hearty Turkish cuisine. With a cosy upper lounge area, and alfresco Seating on ground level! The menu has a wide variety of food, the food that we ordered was soooooo delicious, Such as Smoked Eggplants, Humus, Pastrami, Prawns, Fish Borek, Bomonti and off course Lavish bread, the presentation of the food was beautiful, But for me, the one that stood out was the Lamb Shoulder Tandir, cooked to perfection, it was to die for. Honestly I am speechless about this place... the food was absolutely AMAZING. From the staters to main to the dessert.
Overall nice atmosphere, and nice food relatively inexpensive. Service Wow! What a great service particularly Gizem our waitress, welcoming smile, warm and friendly attitude. The other staff were also very hospitable. They presented flawless service, friendly and professional. The attentiveness and enthusiasm of the service made an enjoyable, lunch
Great place for a real Turkish cuisine. Definitely must try if you are in the mood for, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean flavours. I love it that much, I will definitely come back very soooon next time I am in Sydney.

Took close friends here to farewell them back home to Canada, also my birthday. One of the best Thai restaurants I have been to. Alex our waiter was attentive and very friendly - along with all the staff. The cocktails were amazing and the food exceptional! And then there was the surprise birthday gift and dessert - with a happy birthday song by staff. Don't let the size of restaurant fool you - the service, food and the buzz the restaurant had was second to none. Then the $$$$ to spend at their gift store was amazing. We will certainly recommend. Thank you to all.

My brother-in-law chose this small restaurant after a day out with family and friends, as they were frequent diners here when they used to live in the area.
Located on the main street of Leichhardt, this small corner restaurant was surprisingly good. The service was excellent, the food was tasty albeit a little bit pricey in our opinion compared with other restaurants in the area and portion sizes. We ordered a pepper char-grilled eye-fillet and a sirloin with red wine sauce to share between my wife & I, both of which came fairly quickly and were flavorsome.
We would come back again.

I asked some friends for restaurant suggestions in the inner west and three of them came back with Bloodwood as a recommendation. We were not disappointed. The food is shared plates, we had a range of dishes including scallops, brisket, fried chicken (particularly good), socca and the brisket & polenta chips. Wine was also great and the service was friendly. Would definitely recommend this place. Great for a small group of friends or a date night.

Moretti Ristorante Pizzeria first opened its doors in 1997, when Ilario Ventolini set about creating an Italian restaurant specialising in the simple but flavourful foods renowned throughout central Italy. Since then, Moretti's has become a favourite with Sydney's Italian community and lovers of Italian food alike.
Came here for the first time after scouting around for Italian cuisine. I’m glad we made it here! The waiter we had was awesome but the food impressed us even more. Huge portions and delicious. For entrees we had buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto, eggplant parmigiana and the kingfish carpaccio. Mains we had the papardelle ragu, spaghetti scoglio, lamb and prawns dish. Desert we took the pannacotta, tiramisu and chocolate and pistachio gelato. We were also given complimentary limoncello. Everyone left feeling stuffed and satisfied. Would return again!

This is local to me, and a real find. The food is exceptionally good and not just your standard cafe menu. There's a real focus on the middle east with foules, haloumi, kofta, baklava - all home made. Great service and you'll always feel welcome

If there was such a thing as minimalist dining, Sixpenny would be it. Everything is refined sophistication. No unnecessary sauces, smears, seeds, flowers or dusting. It is not every restaurant that a chef of the year serves you your order. But this is how it's done at Sixpenny. The person who cook will serve and explain the course to you. Be great if other restaurants could do that.
My only gripe is that the three desserts were all ice cream based. Surely a hot one could be thrown in? Also there is no hot expresso coffee available to warm you up after. Otherwise an enjoyable evening, excellent food and service
