Nestled in the Blue Mountains on the shores of Georgian Bay, there could be no better place o play the game you love, especially when the game is being played on a 7,100 yard championship layout, co-designed by PGA Tour professional Tom Lehman and Canada's premier golf course architect Thomas McBroom.

Excellent lunch - Rhonda, you rock! the lunch was excellent and even though we were in the restaurant during the members end of year event, Rhonda did a great job looking after us...8 in total straggling in at different times. She wasn't the least bit flustered, the food was great and the location is beautiful. The golf was great as well, perfect conditions and an awesome course.

This place is right on the highway as you enter into town. There is plenty of parking. I visited at the end of November and it was completely empty. The interior is very clean, fresh and inviting. They have a nice small tasting area to sample the product. If you like what you have tasted you may purchase your favorites and take them home with you. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Although it is very nice, they are lacking something. I'm not sure what it is, perhaps a tour of the process or light snacks.

The Fishway

We stopped here while in Thornbury on a Saturday afternoon. It was interesting to see, about 10 minutes was enough time though. We did see fish trying to jump up the dam part, and we saw a few fish in the actual ladder part. There are many historical plaques and signs which are useful to get an idea of the background for both the dam and the fish ladder.

Kolapore Springs Fishing Adventure

Reviewed By Marjorie B - Kitchener, Canada

Kolapore Springs offers both quiet adventure and gourmet dining. Sean, Andre, and Andy were informative and gracious hosts. Andre took us on an educational journey through the hatchery. After that Andy set John up to fish in a well-stocked pond, while Sean and I hiked the trails. Our adventure finished up with a gourmet lunch, prepared by Andy and Sean, of “fresh” trout, and fried potatoes, cooked on an open fire, accompanied by tantalizing coleslaw. Food so delicious it makes your taste buds stand up and dance for joy. Highly recommend.
