Nice little theme park about 40km from Bangkok: it’s very similar to western standards but on a smaller scale, from the mini world area park, a couple of classic roller coasters (Sky Coaster and Water Canyon) train going across the park, live shows and kids area. Prices are a bit more expansive for foreigners but not a big deal, on a daily it’s not too crowded (unless it’s a holiday) and it’s a nice fun place to spend a day!

We live in Korea and just started wakeboard this year. Sadly, cold winter, makes it impossible to wake there so we came to Thailand to train for a weekend.
Wake park is extremely well maintained. Staff is very friendly and in a great location.
Amenities are also of a very good quality.
We did not sleep there but next time we surely will do as the apartments seems nice and new

Yes, it is amazing. The size, the spirit the support there. They did not promote this tempel as a tourist attraction but you are very welcome as a visitor. There is an information office. They offer guided tours with a mini bus aprox 3 hours. Depending of the current religious activities you will have the chance to visit the whole temple area. We was guided directly into the middle of the mediation arena. It is unbelievable. More than 1 Million people can have a mediation here.

I've been here twice now in 11 months. It's still unfinished. A lot of empty space at side entrance. What is being utilized is pretty massive. I found great deals on what I was looking for. Clean mall I would say . Large bathrooms. Security presence throughout. Many places to eat & drink. Several banks. And yes a tattoo piercing shop the size of a walk in closet in the middle of a clothing store. So bizarre. Only in Asia I have an appointment to return & get a tattoo. I'll let you know how that goes

Zeer Rangsit

Reviewed By cclye - Penang, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia

My wife and I stayed at AAH in Aug'15. When I got back from training and she was hungry and waiting for me at the hotel, we thought it was best to fill our tummies close by. Went down to Zeer Rangsit. Quite a few choices - local Thai, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and fast food. We tried something called fish paste noodles soup. It was really nice. Talking to my colleagues who also stayed in AAH, they have also tried the same dish and like it too.
Zeer Rangsit is a haven to find computer, electronics and AV components and parts. For more mainstream shopping, I recommend Future Park a short distance away.

This is a brand new extension mall mixed in future park Rangsit. Great selections of brands designers and large numbers of you name it restaurants with reasonable prices affordable for any kind of budget.
They also runs a Electirc Cars for elderly or family with kids people inside the mall on each floor. Very clean toilets and cool area to hang out for half a day. You will definitely appreciate this mall and it's beautiful environment. Lots of beauty and skin doctors clinics that must to go.
Parking is a mess so advise to not take your own car on weekend as drives you nuts. Management of this place must come up with different idea of managing the parking area ( in and out ).
We loved the Mall for sure. Going back again today. Lol

Course is well maintained.
Unfortunately 2 negative feedback.
1) if a caddy tip of minimum 300 baht is required, please state this clearly upfront in clubhouse before play or on website. I thought there is already caddy fee of 300 baht and anything more is bonus. Never expect a minimum caddy tip of another 300. Sorry perhaps first time golf in Bangkok and I don't know the market rate.
2) I opted to play this course because it has 36 holes and I wanted to play 36H in one day. If only 18h is opened on Mon and Tue, please state this clearly also somewhere on golf club website. I don't think anyone would have the intention to book 36H and play 2 rounds of same 18H repeated.

The National Memorial

Despite the name, this is a military museum, and a very good one at that! It is outside of Bangkok, close to Don Muang Airport on Phahon Yothin Road, one of the main roads going north, and fairly easy to get to by taxi, although quite a distance from the centre of Bangkok. It's definitely worth the trip, but allow plenty of time as there are four floors of Thai history to look at. One floor is dedicated to wars of the last century such as WW1 & 2, the Vietnam War and the Korean War, another floor is about ancient wars, yet another shows different uniforms through the ages since ancient times, and there is a floor dedicated to the King of Thailand. I'm not overly interested in wars, but this museum is very well laid out and has artefacts, costumes, photos, dioramas and good interpretation in both Thai and English, so that it has something for everyone, no matter what their level of interest. It is run by the army so all the staff are military personnel, and the one who was our guide around spoke excellent English. The museum is in its own grounds with tanks outside. It is open Mon-Fri, 9:00-15:00 and it's free.

MuayThai Institute

Reviewed By Bernie G - Bengaluru, India

MTI offers great training. I've trained both there and at one of the major Phuket gyms, and I found several advantages at MTI. The student-to-instructor ratio is conducive to learning. The focus is entirely on muay thai. That is, they have a strategy of doing one thing really well rather than trying to do everything under the sun. They have rooms on site, and that makes it convenient. If you're a tourist, looking to party hard and do a little to work off the alcohol--you're probably looking for one of the places down south. However, if you're looking for intense training and to not spend an arm and a leg, you'll do well at the Muay Thai Institute.
