November 16, 2017 Karren Gelb

Premium scuba diving and snorkeling are the highlights of the gorgeous Havelock Island, the most popular of the Andaman Islands. Glass-bottomed boats provide a similar up-close marine life experience. Jungle treks and camping are popular landlubbing activities, though the more delicately dispositioned can choose to retire to one of several luxury resorts. Refuel with fresh coconut milk and succulent, just-caught seafood, which dominates every meal.

Radhanagar is definitely one of the prettiest Beaches i have ever seen in the world and we love travelling to beach destinations globally including Maldives, Zanzibar, etc. Definitely worth a visit especially during the sunset.. The sight of the beach with the Forests at the back and the ocean in front are surreal .. You can even walk to the extreme right of the beach if you want some privacy.. Can go to the Barefoot resort before/ after to get a drink and enjoy the day..

Elephant Beach

A very nice beach with various water activities like snorkeling, Sea walk, jet ski. No scuba diving here. The best way to go the beach is by trekking. The trek distance is only 1.8 km and you enjoy trek here. For budget travelers, trekking is good as ferry takes INR 950 from Havelock Jetty to Elephant beach with Snorkeling. This activity offered by them will not have any photos or videos. And you have to pay extra 800 there. So go by trekking and do a guide over there, he will take 200 bucks only and perform snorkeling for 1000 bucks there with photos and videos.

Well all the Beaches in Havelock are awesome! This one being no exception! A very calm less crowded beach. You will likely not get photo bombed at all in this beach. Go stright from the sign near dolphin beach for like 4.2 km and you will reach kalapatthar beach! Beautiful sea view on the way up on down the small hilly road to this beach.
