Great beach in the neighbourhood, maybe the best. A little bit pricey (frappe 4e), stuff could be a bit friendlier but everything else is great. Real score is between 4 and 5.Dear Guest, We would like to thank you for having taken the time to comment on your visit. Please know that we are taking your feedback to heart and focusing on improving. We will be happy to welcome you again.

Interesting, but disappointing. 4euros so price is OK, small exhibition centre allows you to get an overview of what to expect. Would go here first. Most Mosaics were covered when we visited and these were one of the main attractions! Gives a good overview of the history and city layout but there is nothing to give you a wow factor. The walk is good with stopping places if the heat and the hill are getting too much. Views are good.

The hills of "Panagia Koryfini" and "Prophet Elias" offer panoramic views of the city and the sea. At the highest point of the city, the so-called hill of "Panagia Koryfini" is a beautiful church built in a magnificent environment. There is kept the homonymous image that traveled from the Calolis of Asia Minor. Her grace is celebrated on September 8 and this is a local holiday

We start driving at 10:30 from Afitos to Nea Fokea we will stop at the byzantine tower. After we are driving to suni resort there there is a small lake. We will drive between sani and Kassandria in the forest. And we will stop before Fourka where is a small church from 1850 there we are going to have our launch. Near to the church there is a very beautiful bay for swimming. We will follow the road

Before going on the trip Sven has been really helpful providing all the information needed before boarding.
We went for an afternoon sail and once we got on the boat Sven took us to this beautiful spot where we could jump in the water whilst he was preparing a delicious food salad. The view, spot and trip were well chosen for the time and day of the trip but most importantly Sven is a very approachable and sociable host.
The only regret we have is that we didn't do the sailing earlier when we arrived in Halkidiki. Don't make the same mistake.
Thank you Sven and it was nice crossing paths :)

Byzantine Tower

As we reach Nea Fokea the little harbor and the tower it was the most panoramic view. In summer area looks quite impressive, but city is small and doesn’t offer much to do. We spend hours just to discover some attractive spots... but couldn’t succeed. Tower itself make the difference!! Indeed is worthy visiting this place just because this tower which by the local peoples is well-known as the tower of Saint Paul. It is well protected and beside is some ruins of an almost demolished castle. Very closed with tower is a little chapel which offers much quietness!

This was a brilliant day trip, organised in the travel agents of Afitos, they picked us up on time, and made a pleasant journey on a "double decker coach" to the boats in Pefkohori, there was plenty of room on board, and a good atmosphere, we sailed over to Sithonia, had some time at one of their beach resorts, for a swim and a wander round, then on up to Neo Marmaris, where we docked for 2 hours, giving us time to explore the lovely town, back on board we were given our lunch and drinks, we had the wine of course, then we sailed on again to " Turtle island" where we had another chance to swim from the boat in a deep lagoon below some cliffs, only accessible by boat, after that we made our way back, giving us time to catch up and reflect what a brilliant day we had, and all for only 35euros, tremendous value for money.
