We've been a few times at Christmas but this was our first non holiday show. We enjoyed a bit of the pre show antics but the cartoon before the main movie started 36 minutes later. TOO MUCH

Rob and Stever were AMAZING. Rob helped me plan a surprise birthday beer tour for 20 people. He called all of the placea, kept us an hour later, and even offered to give rides after our dinner. I HIGHLY recommend them. Thanks for an unforgettable time, Rob. Great customer service!

Johnson County Museum of History

It's small and local and probably not ideal for kids. That aside I enjoyed seeing some cool old artifacts at this converted Masonic Temple. There were some Civil War memorabilia plus an old pharmacy Cabinet and a cool old juke box. Hey, it's free and within walking distance of the downtown area. Stop by Benjamin's for a cup of coffee. There was an inviting diner called Ann's that I may try next time in town. By the way there is street parking outside the museum and I believe there is a small parking lot that was filled at the time I arrived.

Rascals Fun Zone

Reviewed By johnsonfamily430 - Indiana

We took our two grandsons to Rascals for their birthdays as a belated surprise. Being that they were 3 and 5 years old, all we had to do was buy a wristband for my husband and I, and the kids were free on the go-carts, mini-golf and mini-bowling. We drove the go-carts of course. The driver must be 44 inches tall. They had a ball just riding with us. The mini-bowling was pretty fun. The balls were easy to throw and not too heavy for them. They only have 5 frames per game. That is nice when you are with slow bowlers, ha! The lanes are not too long, and they have bumpers for the little guys. The golfing was outside with the go-carts, although they have indoor go-carts also. There are two courses with 18 holes each. The course was a bit challenging for our two grands, but we made it through. We had a lot of fun watching them try to get the ball in the hole. We bought the 1-hr. wristbands, so after the golf we went to the game room. We were already about 15 minutes over the time, but the game room doesn't count on that. A card for 4 free tokens comes with each wristband. The kids played some games and won tickets on some of them. When the tokens were gone, they turned in their tickets and got some candy for them. Some people were turning in thousands of tickets for big prizes. They have birthday parties there and lots of fast food to buy. There is also an outdoor pavilion to eat under if desired. The boys loved it and can't wait to go back again.

I recently was looking for something special for an Easter basket, and Kim, the owner, made up a beautiful basket within my budget I had given her. The only problem I see with this store is there are so many choices, your going to have a tough time choosing from the varieties of the candies, and then you'll want some ice-cream, and again you have numerous choices. I plan on shopping here for special gifts from now on.

Hiway Lanes Bowling Center

Reviewed By johnsonfamily430 - Indiana

We took our granddaughter bowling here for her 11th birthday. I called to reserve a lane at no charge so we would be sure to have one the day we went. They were very helpful. We got there on the day and got our shoes and paid for our games. You can always come to the counter and purchase additional games to bowl. The lanes are very sleek and uncluttered. The kiosk at each lane keeps the score for you. You do have to set up each bowler's name. There you can choose whether to bring up the bumpers for small children to help keep them from total gutterballs! If selected they will pop up each time the child's turn comes. There are many bowling balls of all weights to choose from. The screen with the game progress has fun facts to read at the bottom. The bowling center has a concession area for food and beverages. A lot of families come here to have birthday parties for their children. They have lessons and leagues also. It is non-smoking inside. There are many lanes and a pro shop to buy equipment to bowl with. It's a fun place!

Theta Floats

Reviewed By redbirdgirl1965 - Wake Forest, North Carolina

This place has a great setup for floating. You step right from the shower into the tank. The tank is huge 6x8 I think and has a glass door. They have a salt lamp in the room so there is a soft glow and a light in the tank for the first 5 minutes. You can bring your own music if you wish and volume controls are inside the tank. There is a low blue light that you can leave on or turn off. I left it on as I have a bit of claustrophobia. I had a wonderful 90 minute float which zoomed by.

The owners are very nice. They also have massage rooms.
