As a family (2 adults & 2 children) we today enjoyed a birds of prey experience at this academy. We can't praise it enough. Highly knowledgeable staff, extremely engaging with both the adults and children and stunning birds that we got up close with. Matt showed as 3 birds inside where we got each one perched on our arm and he talked about their different qualities, habits and abilities. We then took an owl outside to the arena where it flew to each one of us. Recommend to all, even if you aren't a massive bird enthusiast as it is fascinating learning about them and getting so close.

Billericay Brewing

The Billericay Brewing Company or BBC as they are called are a nice small brewery to visit while in Billericay. They have some of their local brews which are quite nice. I dont quite remember the names of the brews but i think something like Zen, Blonde etc if i am not mistaken. They have a small outdoor Seating and the brewery is next door. You can also take away the BBC glasses if you'd like at a cost. Staff are very efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend this place. We were lucky to enjoy some good weather and went there a few times.
