We recently held a wedding at the Buhl Estate on the Addison Oaks grounds. Everyone who helped us plan and execute the day was outstanding...helpful, knowledgable, patient, customer-service oriented. The grounds are beautiful, and the garden is an outstanding venue for a wedding. The food is outstanding, and the service is impeccable. Large and small banquet rooms are available; smaller suitable for anniversary and birthday parties, showers, etc.

Twin Lakes is a great place to golf with friends. The course is well maintained and all of the trees/wooded areas give you that up-north feel. Prices are reasonable and there is a huge clubhouse with a grill (restaurant), pool and tennis. I've also been there for several weddings - they do a great job and the food has always been good.

Blakes Hard Cider

Reviewed By Stendel - Eastpointe, Michigan

We attended the yearly lavender festival and had a great time. The smell of fresh lavender was everywhere. So many lavender products from soaps, oils, and beautiful lavender arrangements. There was plenty of fun for our grandchildren too. A petting farm, archery, face painting, and lots more. There was lots of crafts too with about 50 vendors displaying there creativity. This also is a cider mill so,plenty of donuts, pies, and goodies were available including lavender brownies, lavender tea, lavender ice cream, etc. We will definitely attend it again next year. Loads of fun.

MAEAP: Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program Westview earned MAEAP verification from the Michigan Department of Agriculture in 2009 after a two year long process. What does this mean? MAEAP is a partnership effort that aims to protect natural resources and build positive communities by counseling Michigan farmers that operate farms of all sizes and all commodities on environmentally responsible agricultural production practices. To become MAEAP-verified, farmers must complete three comprehensive steps: educational seminars, a thorough on-farm risk assessment, and development and implementation of an action plan addressing potential environmental risks. To retain MAEAP verification status, a farm must repeat all three steps including MDA inspection every three years. Westview has always understood the importance of being good stewards of the land. Working with Michigan State University in 1980, Westview Orchards began implementing the principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) using insect traps to monitor problem insects, and computerized weather stations to predict crop infestations. The family also implemented new planting configurations to include insect "repellent" techniques after MSU conducted research at Westview. In 1994, the family farm was recognized by the county soil conservation district as Macomb County's "Conservation Farm of the Year" for their IPM practices, use of special "prescribed" orchard grasses that reduce soil erosion on the orchard's hills, implementing trickle irrigation throughout the orchards and participating in on-going MSU research to reduce their use of materials.

We love going to Westview every fall! Our entire family has so much fun picking apples, going to the petting zoo, exploring the shop and playing in the large play areas. The tractor ride is a lot of fun!

I highly recommend making the trip here in the fall. It will be a day full of fun memories!

Our first time to Emagine. Took grandkids to see a Christmas movie. I thought the loud volume would bother them but they were mesmerized the entire time. Loved the power recliners. Although we didn’t partake you can get cocktails
and meals while you are there. Was very clean and easy to find your way around. Wish they had had two cashiers selling tickets because the people in front of us were trying to cash in points or something that took five minutes easily. Still made it to the show on time so no big deal.

This trail runs from north side Rochester across to Lake Orion and paralell with Orion street. Its a well paved road (sand) where running and bicyckling is easy.

When you run from Lake Orion to Rochester, walk through Rochester and connect to Clinton River Trail. This brings you west to Auburn Hills and beyond.
