We were introduced to this river setting on our way to a recommended restaurant. The old buildings are charming and an accordionist added to the ambiance. Limited vehicular traffic on the bridge made this whole scene so much more peaceful.

Marche d'Auray

Reviewed By millcox - Keighley, United Kingdom

As other reviewers have said this is a very interesting and enjoyable market to visit with lots to look at and survey.
As tourists we were more interested in the Brocante and antiques bit, which was down by the port rather than in the newer part of town. On reflection we should have arrived earlier too , it was very busy and if we had been travelling by car I doubt we would have found a spot to park. The market at the top of town was completely finished by 2pm.. Well worth a visit

Enigmes Breizh

Life-size game! Locked in a room, decorated like a movie theater, you conduct the investigation to escape from the room in less than an hour. In every corner of the room hides clues that allow you to find codes, padlocks, keys and even unlock secret passages. Teamwork, observation, communication, logic, speed and organization are essential. Will you face the challenge?

A good selection of leaflets clearly displayed and the staff were friendly & helpful. There is a nice leaflet suggesting a walk around Auray & St Goustan which is well worth following.

Mausolee de Cadoudal

This is an important piece of the history of Auray as it commemorates the life of George Cadoudal leader of the Choans uprising. The building itself is just a curiosity but see the adjacent house where he lived; the little hamlet of Kerleano with its old houses; the park and the sunken pathways where troops could move unseen

Golf Bluegreen De Saint Laurent

Reviewed By Julian140 - Nottingham, United Kingdom

St Laurent really is a fantatsic golf course with great holes and a challenge for all golfers , probably leaning towards the lower handicappers. I have played there 4 times now(at different times of the year) however each visit has been tainted by the speed of play. The average time is 4 and a half hours due to a very busy course full of very slow 4 balls , many of whose players are frankly not of suffcient prowess to play such a fine course. Also the course does not appear to be marshalled at all and you will find yourselves stuck behing a group who has lost 2 or 3 holes and will not call you through.. indeed in all my many rounds playing on French courses I have never been called through!
so by all means give it a visit but have your patient cap on and enjoy the picturesque course but don't play if you are time restricted. PS the 9 hole course is also very good with some fabulous holes PPS French golf attire is VERY relaxed so so long as you have golf shoes just about anything goes!!

Chapelle Sainte-Helene

Reviewed By 387gis_lel - Esbly

Centre Aquatique Alre'O

Reviewed By piito - Caen, France
