We had spent few days in bukovine tatrzanska in September.evenings are cold already so a hot and nice place is required.We found tis place cosy and worm with excellent food. The service was a little bit slow but polite and accurate.the price somewhat higher than in another restaurant but to me it was justified by the quality and taste of the food.

Good place only if you are really hungry. Right at the main rounabout of the village - easy to find. Decent food. Not expensive.

I have really liked interior of this restaurant. Very interesting. I have liked also very much taste of their cuisine. Soups were very tasty, the same main courses.
First big mistake. Main courses came 1 minute after soups were served. That is misunderstanding. I needed to choose if I will eat soup or main course cold.
Another mistake was double position of 1 course on the bill. Was it mistake or purposeful action..? I hope not. Of course I didn't get any fulfillment for this, even sincere ''sorry''. Sad because food was generally good and review could have much better rating.

Nice walking distance from our hotel in Bukowina village. Great views! Very good food. We arrived there early afternoon - half empty. It got more crowded late afternoon. Must be very crowded in summer. We recommend to visit the place in winter - very romantic, quiet... Good service. we spent there 4 hours! Enjoying their food, beer and the Tatra panoramic views. Then wonderful walk back with full moon light...

we were 10 people there - friends team. I have to say that food is typical Polish mountain's one - so you need to be ready for this - big portions, quite heavy, but tasty. We ordered white sausages in mustard sauce - it was tasty, but nothing special. Later we decided to go for different main courses to try what restaurant can offer - we took lamb stew with moskole (baked potatoes pancakes), pork knuckle and zbojnicki pork schnitzel. I have to say that my score would be from poor to excellent. Zbojnicki was poor, but lamb stew with moskole was excellent.
But even trying was not painful it is very cheap there - we paid 50 pln (12 Euros!), including wine and beer.
Plus for life music!!!

"Pod stancyjom" is another place in Bukowina Tatrzanska, that we were coming back to after first visit which was breakfast. After three perfect visits on the morning we come back for dinner and this was faultless as well. Very nice service, same lady every day.
Tasty food and beautiful surroundings. Place full of character, local arts exhibits, plenty of space. Our kids loved it and we enjoyed it. We will go back there without hesitation.

We passed this and looked in and thought the cakes looked fantastic. No tables but we waited which was well worthwhile. Great coffee, apple cake and Kremowka. Well worth a visit!

We have been visiting this nice karczma for several years now during our winter holidays. It has become our favorite place to dine in Bialka. It provided excellent food and atmospere of popular Polish karczma, let overcrowded at times. Hate to admit the overall quality of Litworowy Staw seems to decline though. The food is nice but the portions are getting smaller, the service is not so quick as before (we happened to be served by the same waiter twice this year to our regret), the total bill is higher than before. I noted that as soon as the popular food place starts to expand it looses control on the quality. I do hope that this place will stand its high standards. Can give only 4* for now, sorry.

The food was delicious which compensated rather a long wait during a very busy lunch time period. The menus is not very rich, but it only shows that the main ingredient the restaurants is concentrated is Trout. Fresh water trout tastes different to the Atlantic trout and definitely is a must try for those coming from abroad who are used to the sea version, which has a pink meat. Highly recommended.

You must wait for a table about 15-20 minutes, sometime outside the door, but it's worth of every minute. Food is excellent and the service - owner very fast. Prices nice and easy.
