Strawberry Farm

Reviewed By Marieta J - Coventry, United Kingdom

We visited with a friends family that were visiting us in Baguio. Very busy straight after Christmas but still well worth the visit.
There were too many people in the fields this time so we bought from the stall vendors..... Just remember to walk around and look first... One of our party bought from a stall and they were small and not properly ripe... But a short walk away was a stall selling good size ripe strawberries and considering they were better they were cheaper too.
So please look around first and if buying wine then find a stall offering free tasting.... That way you don't get over sweet strawberry wine.
All in all still a good day and there are more stalls on the outside of the farm, past the entrance.... Well worth a visit and as others say...try the strawberry ice cream.

Mount Jumbo

Reviewed By Vaniah D - Baguio, Philippines

You can get here buy taking a jeep Baguio-Tawang/Shilan route. Just ask the driver to drop you off the Tawang Gas station. Take the road going right after the gas station. There is a motor shop in front of the entrance going to Mt. Jumbo so it is easy to locate. Estimated time of the trek is 45min-1 hour. The way going up is composed of concrete and bumpy road. If you have car or motorcycle, you can bring it on top, but heads up, the road gets muddy and slippery. Bring water or refreshments as there's no stores along the way. Can bring food for picnic. No entrance fee. No opening and closing time. It is amazing on top as you can see the Baguio and La Trinidad Valley. It is a grassland, no trees on top. Some rock formation and beautiful view. Try to get here early morning to witness sun-rise or late afternoon during sun set. It gets humid and may be sun burnt during 10am-4pm. Enjoy the view!

Bahong Rose Gardens

Reviewed By Maria Gracia M - Cainta Rizal

If you're going to Bahong, you could either take a cab or from Strawberry farm, you could walk your way up to the Benguet Provincial and look for the line of passengers taking a colorum FX near a bakery. Cost to Bahong is P10. they will drop you exactly at the Rose farm. Mind you that the way going there is a bit stiff. You have to experience narrow roads up and down. we'll it's kinda exciting.
The rose farm is a hectare of land with rose plants and other flowering plants. The place is big. you can buy plants there and can stroll the area. The people living there are nice. I guess, they are a community and maybe some are relatives. if you are commuting, there's an FX going back there. You just have to wait for minutes so i advise you not to stay too long.

Stobosa Hillside Homes Artwork

Reviewed By Dibyne - Davao City, Philippines

This place is beside the Bell Church and along the highway. It is noticeable when you are entering La Trinidad from Baguio City. Its a product of a cooperative community to come up with a mural/ creative painting. This becomes an instant tourist attraction in its barangay.

Stobosa Houses

Reviewed By Chris Jesus G - Baguio, Philippines

Inspired by the Favela Houses in Brazil, this is the first in the Philippines. With the initiatives of LGU and local artists, they design the houses in a big sunflower but the petals were in different colors.
I hope that the LGU will put a view deck for the tourist to take pictures that the big mural will serves as a background.

Mount Costa

Reviewed By jaspuru08 - Baguio, Philippines

Want to stay away from the tall buildings? noise of cars? people everywhere? Visit Mount Costa and experience what nature has to offer. I went there with my family and indeed, we enjoyed. The different Gardens, various landscapes, beautiful and colorful flowers, beautiful and hospitable people, everything is just... WOW! There are benches almost everywhere if ever the kids, the seniors, or you, want to rest. Mount Costa will surely be enjoyed by children, grandparents, and the whole family. Mount Costa is good for picnics and taking photos. Mount Costa, you're the best!

Btw, Mount Costa is open but there are few spots to be done and refined. As a local, Fog and drizzle (can be annoying, but sometimes it adds to the ambiance of the place because it's cool and chilling)is normal when you visit at noon. in case you didn't bring any umbrella, they will provide you some.
Visit with your own car or rent a car... if u're planning to commute, waiting for a jeep or taxi will take you a long time when going back to the city.
i didn't post the other pictures, its for you to see.
add mt. costa to your bucket list! definitely worth it!

Valley of Colors

Reviewed By Papa-Caps - Lipa City, Philippines

This used to be a hillside decked with houses with their laundries hanging outside the houses. Not really an attraction to see if you are going to La Trinidad. But after a group took the initiative to paint all the houses in different patterns, this place has now become a tourist attraction. Downside is that there is little space for tourists to park their cars as this is along a main road. Electric cables can also ruin your picture as they are freely hanging out there that can easily get into your pictures.

Benguet Province Museum

Reviewed By Sheryl F - La Trinidad, Philippines

One of the places to visit when you are in La Trinidad is the Benguet Museum. It is located near the Provincial Capitol.
There is a curator who courteously answer questions about the pictures mounted on the walls. They are patient with children who are very eager to to learn about the Benguet culture.
There is a souvenir shop where you can buy local crafts.
When commuting, there are jeeps nearby and you can also talk a walk to the strawberry fields.
