The 7 Best Things to Do in Zingst, Germany

July 15, 2017 Misti Hsu

On the Fischland-Darss-Zingst peninsula, the beach runs between unspoiled sand dunes and the Baltic Sea. Zingst itself draws tourists to its soft, fine sands, ideal for sunbathing; and to its spas for treatments founded on natural remedies. For nature lovers, the peninsula is host to a national forest park and is also a stopover for thousands of European migratory cranes.

If you are thinking about going to the beach in Rugen I would forget it and come here. Miles of beautiful sand well set out car parks and a great strip behind the beach to either walk or bike. Just needs more Standkorb as it can get blowy.

We had a great experience with the school. Both my kids, 11 & 13 took part in a windsurfing course and they had an excellent instructor. 3 days, 3 hours each. My kids loved it. We watched the kids go from no clue to windsurfing...MoreThank you very much Winnie. Come back soon :-)

Witzige Experimente , gute Beschreibungen , nettes Personal .

It was an interesting experience & fun for kids. The guide was very enthusiastic and funny. There was a 3D movie of the sea towards the end. There were refreshments available for purchase. Something different to do.
