While on a business trip to Carei, we visited the castle. The building was beautiful and very well kept. The history around it was really interesting. It was also nice to visit such a nice building that was not ostentatiously targeting as many tourists as possible. Our guide was obviously passionate by the building and he was just very happy to share his knowledge.

It was a truly nice surprise to visit this place and to enjoy the facilities provided by this resort place.
It was opened three years ago at standards that are equal with other similar places I visited in Europe and the USA.
The outdoor pools are different sizes and depths in order to allow all ages to enjoy bathing. The water sliders attract both kids and adults.
Apart the pools for swimming and kid play there are two pools with mineral waters (sulfurs, iodine, etc.).
The water temperatures varies between 27 and 37 degrees Celsius, depending on the pool purpose.
The indoor pools are other positive aspects. The water temperature is between 27 and 33 degrees Celsius. Beside swimming there are pools for babies, and for bubble massage.
The place is clean and well organised with modern facilities.
One particular aspect I like to emphasize is the relaxing massage service (among many other therapeutic massage and fitness facilities).
The only negative aspect is the poor quality of food you can get there. I would not try to eat there as the typical dishes in such a place is getting a lot of fried in sunflower oil, lot of carbohydrates, and a lot of frozen food to be cooked.

The climb to the top is a little bit of a struggle on a hot day but once at the top the views of the city are spectacular.Well worth the effort.

It is an interesting terace which is using the great scenary of the fireman's tower. The menu has a big variety of cocktails. The bad part is that you need to be carefull that they execute them well. In my visit the bartender spoiled two Jagermeister shots with water with the presumption it will be unnoticed. Which automatically downgraded the overall experience of what is otherwise a good Terrace. Good place, cheap tricks.
