Toledo has a wonderful art museum and glass pavilion but whenever they have special exhibitions they are worth seeing. The current Egypt exhibit is very good. Check out the info on their website about mummy movies shown because I don't remember dates or times, unfortunately we didn't plan well to see it all in one trip! We loved the exhibit though.

Maumee Bay State Park is a great spot to camp. The overall campground is nicely laid out. Sites are good sized, have decent privacy. Some have great views and settings for sunrises and sunsets. Plenty of trails to get around and get to the beach. Bathrooms are immaculate. Folks managing it were all friendly. Highly recommended.

I have taken several classes at 577. Jewelry making was my favorite I went into the "classroom" and found several different stones and beads. I made three pair of earrings and a necklace. The lady who was teaching the class had several helpful hints to make things go smoothly she was very helpful. My husband also singled me up to a a basket weaving class of all things not at all my favorite but the other people in the class and the persons teaching the class made it more fun than it would have been otherwise.

Pearson's Metropark

This park is very well done. On this side of town, there is not much. But this park has a lake/pond, paddle boats, lots of trails for cycling and walking, lots of deer, and more. Its well kept, other than dumping to much fine gravel on certain trails making bikes hazardous to ride. Im sure part of that is less rain, etc to beat the trail down. But this is a beautiful park, fishing for the kids, lots of wildlife, shelters, and a top notch play area.

This is the place where you can enjoy a meal, baseball, and have fun after the game. Great restaurants around Hensville, lots of parking, and safe streets surround the stadium. There is so much excitement during the game and between innings. Pick a night with fireworks or running the bases! After the game, you can grab a drink or a snack to finish your day!

His boat is very comfortable and the lake and views were beautiful !

I met up with a friend's family here (they came from Cleveland and I came from Detroit). It was a perfect meeting spot for us having young children. The cost is reasonable and the activities kept the young busy for hours. There is a small cafeteria there-also has reasonable prices. A nursing room is also available for breastfeeding mothers. This place may be a germaphobes nightmare because everything is hands on...bring those wipes and hand sanitizer!
