This tour was amazing!!! Our team Chris and Jenna were awesome! They were very informative and helped us to feel safe and secure straight away! Our time in the water was unreal! We saw leopard sharks, wobbegongs, coloured star fish, pufferfish and many many turtles!! On the day we went out the visiability was high and the current wasn't very strong. Our Guide Jenna had a good knowledge of the area and had a great eye for spotting many spieces of wildlife along the way. On the boat ride back we saw nurseries of dolphins playing around near our boat with their babies! Which was really beautiful! We would highly recommend this tour!

Went here with a friend and was pleasantly surprised.. good value with the half price locals ticket, normally $47 for adults. We did the whole tour, took about 2 hours and it was great, even better if you have kids. You get a tractor ride with guided info, fruit tasting, boat ride, train ride and animal feeding. Theres also a fun park with mini golf, flying fox and play gym. All the guides are lovely and very knowledgeable, definitely worth a visit. Dont forget to grab some hot macadamias and fruit from the shop and gifts from the cafe.

Chinderah Tavern

Was driving through this area on a Monday and we decided to have lunch there. It was avery quite day and the menu indicated it was a country pub/tavern as expected when we looked in. The wine menu was limited so we decided to try a NZ sav blanc which was average but the food bearing in mind we were eating at a country hotel was good as was the staff.

Fingal Head Lighthouse

Reviewed By Jenny V - Kingscliff, Australia

We went with our family to take a look around Fingal Head this weekend as we had not really done much looking around this area even though we are local. We moved up from Melb 12 months ago but have not really had much of a chance to see as much of the area as we would like. We had family visit this weekend though and they wanted to take a look at the lighthouse so off we all went.
We were so surprised at what we found. It's truly beautiful up there.
The walk was easy, but I would have preferred to have been in sturdier shoes or thongs rather than sandals as the sand got in amongst everything so I would recommend any woman wanting to do the same walk to wear runners or something similar.
The view that we had when we got to the end of the walk so so good we couldn't believe it.
The lighthouse must be the smallest lighthouse we have ever seen but it was so cute and belongs in that setting. They also have little snippets of information about the origin of the lighthouse and its inhabitants on information boards which made it even better so we could understand why it was erected originally.
From there we walked on to the heads which overlooked dreamtime beach and the most beautiful but rough coastal landscape.
We would recommend anyone to do the trek. We will definitely be taking visitors there when they visit from now on.

Cinemax Cinemas

Reviewed By Mary S - Brisbane, Australia

They don't make 'em like this any more! This cinema is a hidden gem. I'd recommend a visit if ever you're in or near Kingscliff.
Cinemas are small and intimate (about 15 seats each) and tickets very reasonably priced (we paid $15 each). Snacks or meals can be purchased before the movie and served in the cinema until the film starts. Each set of 2-3 cinema seats has its own table for easy dining, along with lamps. Just delightful. We'll definitely return.

What more could you want, great for the kids, country town feel, nice Seating and viewing areas to see right the way up to Surfers Paradise, I have been coming here for 35 years and what stands out to me it’s its still as prestige as the first time I went there. The locals are so proud of their clean beach that they advertise it. Well done snappper rocks.

Point Stephens Lighthouse

Crossed the spit at low tide about 5 weeks ago without getting my feet wet. Great walk out to the lighthouse with the ruins of the lighthouse keepers cottage a highlight. WARNING - storms and big seas have now made the crossing of the spit extremely dangerous, even a low tide. It may take several months before it can be safely crossed again.

Kirra Beach

Reviewed By nipitinthebud - Auckland, New Zealand

I first came her in 1986 for the breaks, Kirra, Little Kirra, Greenmount and D Bar. The breaks were consistent and always working for the majoirty of the six months I stayed. Ironically my next visit was Oct/Nov 2017 and the surf was crap however this is just ad timing due to conditions. The beach is still clean and well looked after. Tweed Heads itself has changed significantly in the last 31 years as you would expect. Back in 86 it was this quaint seaside town the alternative to buzzy commerical surfers. It still has that positive vibe but alot more busy.Kirra is quieter than its close neighbour Coolangatta and Greemount Beaches. Good size to walk or run along going North. Early in the morning is magical.

Outstanding service from initial phone call to end of treatment.
I could not recommend the Hot Stone massage of Facial treatment more highly. Definitely the best customer service I have experienced in along time. The easiest, least risky gift you could give is a Sambara gift voucher.
Keep up the GREAT work.
