Climbing in the trees at 1200m above sea level is pure fun.Try the flying bear and you will get a tarzan feeling at a hight of 20m flying from tree to tree. Afterwards you have a lovely place called BÄRENFALLE where you get typical bavarian food. And the best to come: 43 bends luging down to the parkplace. This Alpsee Coaster is supposed to be the largest summer luge chance in Germany and to be honest. spare the breaks, just enjoy the speed and have an incredible run to the parkinglot where it is difficult to get rid of the grin in yourr face....

Visited the water ski lake this week with my daughter and we had a brilliant time. Prices were reasonable, and we spent a couple of hours water skiing on the lake. The price included the hiring of skis, optional helmet and life jacket. It was quite busy, and we had to wait around 15 minutes before each ski. I will definitely return next summer, as it is a very cost effective way to ski, rather than behind a boat.

Was an awsome afternoon and we'll worth it. The instructors were great and spoke English well, they also knew there stuff and aimed it at the level you are happy at doing. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a fun and exhilarating day out.

A nice hiking path suitable for people of all ages. It can be slippery in some points, but the handrails securing the way make the tour never dangerous or difficult. I would honestly recommend it. The 3,50 euros fee are totally worth it.

Golfplatz Sonnenalp

Since 1975 the 18-hole golf course Sonnenalp (6,133 meters, par 72) has been an inspiration to the guests of the eponymous five-star resort as well as to further excited golf players. The demanding design of the championship course connects exciting golf to the romantic nature in an ideal manner.

Beautiful course where you het easily distracted by the surrounding Mountains. Not easy to play, very hilly (advise: take a buggy or at least an electric trolley), fast greens. I enjoyed it a lot and as guest from the Sonnenalp resort you get discount on the greenfee. Also the changing rooms with showers are clean and spacious. I already look forward to my next round!

The scenery is spectacular from here.We started a downhill hike which took us to a great eating place The Horn which had great traditional food halfway down to the valley floor.

Small children who like sheep, cows, and still can be educated, this museum might do. It is a steep climb, so much, that my mobilityscooter quit very near to the top. Next to the museumsentrance is a cheeseshop with varieties of homemade cheese. I am sure that little children will enjoy the museum, but just 2 adults will find better places to visit. Forarmed is forwarned... Be carefull in this region, as it is quite a mountainarea. Nearly wrecked our braks!

Skigebiet Ofterschwang-Gunzesried

Reviewed By XCRIS - Cluj-Napoca

A small but fancy ski-resort in Oberallgäu, a nice alternative to the OK ski-region and very close to it. The ski area is constructed around the "Weltcup Express", a 2 km straight and fair "Black" - host for the next Ladies Slalom and Giant-Slalom FIS World Cup event in March 2018. There are "Red" alternatives around, the longest being Familienabfahrt (2400 m). On the other side of the mountain lays the longest run, Marchenwiese, almost 4 km, with sections served by two lifts, I recommend only if the snow is ok and well groomed, otherwise one should use the poles to pass the numerous shallow parts.
The major drawback is the low height of the Ofterschwang Horn (1400 m) which makes the area prone to higher temperatures and capricious weather. However, the placement makes its slopes somehow safe from the winds, kept open even when the other resorts are closed.
The good news is that Ofterschwang shares the cable ticket with Bolsterlang, situated a couple of kilometers to the South, a quite similar ski-resort, totalizing together a good 40 km of slopes.
The day ticket is less then EUR 40, with deductions for children, additional days etc.
Recommended for families with children.
