Gwangmyeong (Korean pronunciation: [kwaŋ.mjʌŋ]; Korean: 광명시) is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It borders Seoul to the east, north and northeast, Anyang to the southeast, and Siheung to the southwest.
Seoul is the business and cultural hub of South Korea, where skyscrapers tower over Buddhist temples. Take it all in from the N Seoul Tower, built atop a peak in Namsan Park. Goyang (Goyang-si; Korean pronunciation: [ko.jaŋ]) is a city in Gyeonggi-do in the north of South Korea. It is part of the Seoul Capital Area, making Goyang one of Seoul's satellite cities. It is one of the largest cities in the Seoul Capital Area, with a population of just over 1 million. The city is the site of the Ilsan New Town, a planned city surrounding the Ilsandong-gu and Ilsanseo-gu districts of Goyang. It also includes Deogyang-gu which is closer to Seoul.
