I adore this little place! We had breakfast here twice and it was the coziest little place to go to on a chilly morning. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was great and the food was delicious.

This is the best place for really good coffee and the bagel sandwiches are great for breakfast on the run. Staff is amazingly nice (like everyone I have met in Idaho) and highly recommend it.

Papa Brunee's is a restaurant located near the Sawtooth Mountains in Stanley, Id. We have many specialty pizzas, calzones, subs, salads and beer.
There were so many interesting pizzas that we asked our waitress for a recommendation. She said that the Chickenator (Creamy garlic sauce, chicken, bacon & artichokes, topped with fresh tomatoes) would not disappoint us. We split a small one and added a dinner salad. The pizza was fabulous and the salad was fresh, cold and crisp. It was a wonderful meal after a great day spent outdoors.

Hard to believe one can find such superb, creative, delicious cuisine in tiny Stanley, Idaho. If you are visiting, do not miss this place. We dined here twice in 4 days, returning for the wonderful food (menu changes somewhat every day) and friendly service. Every part of our meals - starters, entrees, dessert - was delicious and beautifully prepared. Our kudos to the chef and staff.

My family had just completed a 6-day rafting/camping trip with an outfitter based in Stanley. After showering at our hotel, we were ready for a sit-down meal. One of our guides recommended the restaurant at the Sawtooth Hotel, so we decided to give it a try.
For an appetizer we shared their teriyaki spring roll. It was two good-sized rolls cut in half, allowing four people a sample of the roll. It came with two small containers of dipping sauce. The only issue we had with it was the price -- it cost $15!! A little on the expensive side, my husband and I agreed. If we had known the price ahead of time we would not have ordered it.
My entree was the tagliatelle pasta with pesto sauce and vegetables. You could tell the pasta was homemade, and the dish was smothered in the pesto sauce. My husband had the pork schnitzel. He has had this dish many times in Vienna (its home), and said this one was oily and heavy. The dish had large portions.
One of my kids is a picky eater, and she only wanted plain pasta butter and cheese. They served her a bowl packed with rotini just as she ordered it. She ate all of it and enjoyed it.
Service was frequent and prompt, no unreasonable waiting times. Our table was inside, but we had a lovely view of the Sawtooth Mountains from the window next to the table. As we were there on a Friday evening when they have music, we had the extra benefit of hearing music piped in that was being played on a stage outdoors.
If I were to return to Stanley I would go to this restaurant again. It is definitely one of the top places in town to dine in!

This is listed as an RV resort, but I notice most of the reviews aren't about the park -- they are about the restaurant. After dining here this weekend, I think it deserves a place among restaurants as well (it was very good).
This is a very folksy restaurant...they will call you "Hun" and take the time to visit with you. They also have the most awesome smoked prime rib special. We actually went out back to find out what smoker they used...we've been trying to perfect prime rib for years and these guys have it down. They also had great ribs and twice baked potatoes. Don't go expecting a long wine list or any fancy farm to table food...just homey atmosphere and good stick to your ribs food.

We stopped here for dinner, seeing a promising menu online. The first problem was that a single employee was responsible for both tending the bar and waiting on ALL the tables. He was very energetic, but clearly over-tasked, and service was pretty slow. When the food did arrive, it was not good. A vegetable medley accompanying our entrees was a strange combo of under-cooked items, bathed in a sauce with so much garlic it made our eyes water (and we like garlic). Our sandwiches were both dry and the bread on one was charred; they were also strangely flavorless. This place has real potential, but needs work.

Local Steakhouse featuring hand cut ribeyes, prime rib, trout, salmon, and house smoked brisket. River front outdoor dining with a spectacular view of the Sawtooth Mountains.
Ate at Bridge Street Grill today. First of all, amazing views! Had the bleu burger (bleu cheese and Cajun spices). Hands down the best burger I've ever had! Hubby had Wooly Mammoth burger. He said it was amazing. Only suggestion is bottled beer instead of cans. Would definitely eat here again!

We had a great evening listening to Matias play acoustic guitar on stage next to the lake while waiting for our dinner reservation. once seated we enjoyed an amazing meal, my husband had the bacon wrapped meatloaf that was a very new approach to the...MoreThank you so much for your kind review. Those are some of our favorite dishes! Thank you for appreciating the hard work that goes into making all of our meals authentic. Best, RFLL

The restaurant was very busy the morning we ate breakfast there. At least two rafting companies had groups there, so we found a table, drank coffee, ate, paid our bill, and left. There was a nice selection of options and everyone found something they could eat. In our group, that was enough to make it a good experience.
