My husband and I dined here a couple weeks ago. The service was excellent and we were surprised to learn we should have made reservations, as it was 5:20 p.m. on a Friday evening. It was evident that they get quite busy early on in the evening. I had the cod and my husband had a filet. For a meal around $35.00 (for both of us), it was tasty and a great value.

Manly is the original home of Ribs and Rumps. Located on the first level of 35 South Steyne, Ribs and Rumps Manly offers breathtaking views over iconic Manly Beach…and has been the favourite choice for meat lovers and tourists to the North Shore.
EAT THE RIBS. this place delivers on what is says it will. you have a choice of 3 ribs with lamb ribs being by far most amazing. odd as usuallly I enjoy prok ribs. Portions huge, chips, onion rings, veg all of high quality. Good food, good place.

Located in a VERY small town, miles off any main road--in the middle of Turkey country. This place would be nothing more than a local bar and grille--but they've made their reputation by serving up fantastic Broasted chicken!
Try to go on a Thursday night, when they are running their chicken special. The portions are huge, and the price is SMALL!

We wanted a quick meal in Albert Lea and decided on Mexican. We live in an area with wonderful, authentic Mexican and this was along those lines. It was very fast, the service was friendly and the food didn't disappoint. I had the Expresso Burrito and my husband had the Shrimp Cocktail with a street taco (al pastor). If we're through the area again, we'll probably try the fajita and new street tacos.

Worth Brewing spent its first 9 years as a small brewpub in downtown Northwood. In the Spring of 2016 we moved across the street into our new 1896 structure. With a new 7 barrel brew house, large taproom, beirgarden, and the Bee Hive Ballroom Worth Brewing is happy to say it has a new home.
We stopped here on a recommendation from our friend who had tried their beer someplace else and said it was good, so we decided to try their Field Trip IPA and the Short Trip.
Both were good and we appreciated the servers ability to explain all of their drinks and what a comparable non craft beer would be.
There are some old pictures of the town and a very cool restored bank teller cage over the bar, as well as a great 5-6 person secluded sitting area, but otherwise the decor and atmosphere is quite plain. There are just a few seats at the bar, a couple of high tables, small tables, and 1 (maybe 2) bigger tables for a small group.
They do offer an outdoor "patio" but upon checking it out, it is merely a patch of gravel with a generic metal table and chairs setup in the space between the back door and alley. More of an afterthought than a true outdoor patio area.
They do not offer any food, but the Mexican restaurant across the street will deliver to you.

From the menu to our genuine service, everything we do at Green Mill is focused on one thing - providing our guests the best restaurant experience possible. Our menu features legendary pizza and unique pastas as well as a wide selection of wings, entrees, burgers, sandwiches and appetizers. And our bars are bustling with great drink deals, sports viewing, games and relaxed conversation.
We stopped on our way to our hotel (Best Western Plus in Albert Lea.) We ate a late lunch at about 2 pm. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We ordered the extreme supreme with the old world crust. It was excellent! They also served ice cold NA (non-alcoholic) beer. Great eating experience... even in the off hours! In fact, we were disappointed there was no Green Mill restaurant in Des Moines, on the next leg of our road trip. (See my upcoming review of The Machine Shed.)

The food here is something between authentic Mexican food (not hot) and "Tex-Mex"--spicy. Every dish I've sampled has been good--but order ANYTHING with the white cheese sauce! Portions are generous--price is low--food is good--what more can you ask?
We usually go to the new Worth Brewing Company location--now across the street--you can call your order in, and they deliver--or just go pick it up. That's good for BOTH companies!
Tequila's is serving nacho plates on Thursdays at Worth Brewing evenings.

An a la Carte restaurant with excellent quality and service can get pricey as you add items to your meal Our filets were cooked to perfection. I recommend the shrimp cocktail for your appetizer . Worth the few extra dollars when compared to a buffet or fast food option.

My suggestion would be to keep on driving. While the service was exceptional, the food was bland and didn't look the freshest. I passed on the Lo Mein noodles because they looked dried out as if they had been sitting there for a while. The clam bisque soup tasted more like thin mushroom soup. The carved beef on the other hand was great with the Teriyaki sauce from the Asian buffet. Great dessert selection. Overall OK, but nothing to write home to mother about or entice me to come back.

Stopped here for an early lunch. Restaurant was not busy. However, only one employee working and they did not have all of the bread selections available which we thought was odd. There also should have been more than one employee working, especially on a Saturday.
