Dave's Sticky Pig

Very interesting place. Entirely not what I was expecting. A Mom-and-Pop BBQ that is run very much like a fast food place. Not a bad thing. Had the Brisket with coleslaw and potato salad. Brisket was more of a shredded BBQ but still nice. Didn't care for the coleslaw (too much vinegar, I like more mayo). Did get a beer (bottled) which was a plus. Good BBQ at a great price.

As always, the best fresh doughnuts in this world! I've been testing the taste for 60 years. No other doughnut comes close. They also have very good birthday cakes.

I live in Owensboro and we pride ourselves on great BBQ, but this place really makes me second guess the BBQ capital of the world. Moist brisket, fall-off-the-bone ribs, and amazing sides! I'll definitely be coming back for Friday steak night!

One of my favorite breakfast spots. The subs are good, especially when still hot or warm. (The hot donut holes are manna from sugar heaven). But go from the croissants with egg and either bacon, ham or sausage. Always fresh and delicious. Two dollars well spent in the morning. The biscuits are more like buns but also very good and 50 cents cheaper. A good drink selection and the Thailand couple that own it are always friendly, tossing in a free sample with almost any order. They even have drive thru if you're in a hurry. And a great place to get that sugar buzz as you try to wake up. Oh, I almost forgot, the Apple fritters are outstanding

This place is like the DQ from back home. The food is still wonderful..the cheeseballs are the best!! My favorite are the fried mushrooms and horseradish. They are super yummy!! They even still have some of the older dishes..chuck wagon anybody? Dilly bar? Must try if you are a child of the 80's..brings back memories. Who else has pickles next to the ketchup squirter..none other than DQ!!

Country Cupboard

This restaurant has a pretty good buffet. The mac and cheese is excellent as well as the fried chicken. The pork however, was bland and very dry. The spaghetti had been left out for a while, but everything else I tried on the buffet was good. The best part was the dessert. They had over 20 different pies and cakes that were fresh made daily. I had to try several of them and the chocolate eclair was fantastic.

I've eaten here three times and loved it. They had some chocolate peanut butter cookies I avoided but looked wonderful. Ice cream was good, but soft. They were having issues with the freezer. Staff very friendly, and whole grain roll was a nice touch. Liked the chicken salad.

Dos Copas

Reviewed By candacejo - Murfreesboro, Tennessee

Traveling from Tennessee to Indiana and being on a restricted diet I just can't go through too many drive thru's. I had seen on the iExit app that Dos Copas had high ratings so we stopped there for lunch.

We parked in the front next to the street and went in the what we assumed was the front door. Not. We almost turned around because it was pretty rough and not so clean or appealing. We had walked into the back of the restaurant although there were booths there and people were seated and eating. We made our way through the maze to get to the checkout/check-in desk and were seated immediately. Service was fine and the fajitas were amazing. I don't eat the tortillas or chips but there was way too much chicken, steak on the sizzling plate! There were about six shrimp and they were fixed perfectly. Everything was extremely good and seemed fresh.

The place could use a good cleaning and a paint job but it was hopping and no one seemed to mind.

We took our clients for an Appreciation Dinner. We had a wonderful dinner. They had dry aged steaks and we all had the filet and strip. They were excellent. We also had the roasted Brussels Sprouts and wilted spinach. I would go again.
