A group of 12 motorcycle riders got together and rode to Katie's for breakfast. They were helpful by seating us quickly. The serve staff was friendly. I had the breakfast platter with scramble eggs, bacon, old fashioned potatoes with these amazing soft and fluffy biscuits and gravy. We will be back.

Hoboken Coffee Roasters

We got serious about starting a coffee company within the first few months of our marriage. We were married six months after meeting in the fall of ‘07. We sold a car. We used the money to move to Eugene OR and spent a year discovering the coffee culture of the Pacific Northwest. Toward the end of our time in Oregon we sold our other car and bought an espresso machine. We shipped it home, and without a vehicle, we pedaled ourselves twenty two hundred miles back to Oklahoma. It was an adventure to say the least. Back in Guthrie, Oklahoma in the Summer of 2010 we began to work strange jobs so we could spend our free time working on an old garage that would later become our cafe and roastery. Together we worked jobs like: bus driver, certified nurse aid, high school teachers aid, snow-cone stand attendant, lawn care service and the local doughnut shop. We opened Hoboken Coffee Roasters in December 2012 and it’s been worth every second we spent scraping and saving to make it happen!

And this coffee house has become even better than before! We stopped twice while visiting relatives in town, and the scones, coffee and cookies were 10/10. We bought roasted coffee to brew at home, which was also excellent. Great location although can be tough to find for a first time visit .

Don't miss it!

Braum's

Reviewed By Ryan6680 - Salina, Kansas

This is hands down the worse Braums I have been to. We showed up at 10:55 on a Sunday, honestly not knowing what time it was because we had drove from Salina, Ks, and was told we couldnt order lunch because they served breakfast until 11 a.m. on Sundays. We didnt want breakfast so we used the restrooms and was about to leave when we noticed the time was now 11:01. We went back up to the counter and they let us order lunch, I guess it was worth losing business for five minutes, and they werent even busy so not sure why just on Sunday lunch starts at 11.

After we got all ordered, we ordered to go, we got back in our car and had to rearrange all the sandwiches becasue they were just thrown together. The fries tasted like they had been fried in old oil and the burgers weren't even hot enough to melt the cheese.

We stop at Braums, because its usually consistent, through out all our trips. This one was the worse by far for service, food, and cleanliness. I advise anyone in the area to avoid this Braums.

A really interesting restaurant in historic Guthrie. The walls are covered with old signs and there are oldcoke machines and old cigarette vending machines there. The steak was absolutely delicious, as were the onion rings.
Delightful servers who told us some of the town's history. A must if you are in Guthrie

Do you NEED a carb fix? If you do then you can not go wrong by getting any of Missy's offerings. But if it is the best you want... then choose a cinnamon roll. Stacy's Place

Stacy's Place is a cozy New American restaurant located in the heart of downtown Guthrie, Oklahoma. Treat yourself to one of our fantastic meals today.

Reviewed By OkieSusan - Perkins, Oklahoma

We visited Stacy’s Place on a ver busy night in Guthrie: Christmas Victorian Walk. My husband got the fish tacos and I ordered the pot pie. We were disappointed. My pot pie had little or no flavor and the vegetables had that distinct “frozen vegetable” taste. My husband’s Tacos would have actually been pretty good but they came with nothing to spice them up - salsa, pico etc. He requested salsa but she forgot to bring it. I ordered pumpkin pie for dessert to split and the filling was good but the crust was so tough that I couldn’t cut it. Now here are the positives- and the reasons I rated it as highly as I did: Guthrie is a fairly small town and this is probably 1 of a handful of days when this place will be swamped with customers. I’d like to try it on a normal day. I find that quality sometimes goes out the window on those overwhelmingly busy days. Our waitstaff was very nice. Other than forgetting the salsa, she did a good job. The building is darling...a really nice atmosphere. So we will go back.

We frequent prime Steakhouses and I would rate this restaurant in the same category. The food is hot and fresh, rolls are amazing, sides are magnificent and ambiance is hard to beat. Service is always attentive. We had stuffed salmon and blackened ribeye with blue cheese. Opted to change side on steak from carrots to mushroom risotto with twice baked potato. Delicious!!!!
