This place, which has excellent food, is locally known as "the Taco Bus" Their phone number is: 406-660-0915.
After driving through the scenic highway, we decided to stop for dinner in Dillon. I did not expect to find AUTHENTIC Mexican food, let alone some in a cute and quirky bus! The menu is absolutely massive, and so many things looked yummy. Decided on the Tres Amigos and it was so good. Very large portions for a great price. The seating is limited, but only because the line of people was huge! I'm always willing to wait for delicious food that locals are raving about. Definitely stop here if you're anywhere near Dillon!

Sweetwater has moved to a larger location on Idaho Street where The Galloping Horse used to be located. The larger space is very well done, keeping with the service and eclectic ambience of the former location. The food and beverage options are always great, with a high standard of quality. Parking can be a problem, but entrance though the back door makes alley parking possible. Try it, you'll go back!

I miss the way they used to cook their burgers at the old location! But despite that, the service remains excellent! You can't beat DQ blizzard!

Someone in town recommended Sparky’s to us. And we are so glad we went. We had a comfort food meal that was better than all the fancy places we ate during a 2 month long driving trip...and that included some so called famous places that cost a ton of $$.
The inside decor of the restaurant is very quaint and loaded with Garage signs and lots of old time 50’s items. It was also very clean and those items on display had all also been dusted and cleaned...so different from other places that never clean such things, and which end up dusty and greasy.
You can even ask for a booth inside a 1950’s Chevy Pickup Truck bed. Fun for the kids and older adults who remember the 50’s. The waitress we had was absolutely charming and friendly...and efficient.
Now the menu is a long list of varied treats...burgers to Mac & Cheese to Chicken Fried Steak...Yummmm. Oh, and milkshakes and MALTS that come in the tall glasses with the metal mixing tumbler full with seconds. At least google the menu and give this small town place a chance...you may be pleasantly surprised like we were. We will certainly come back next time we pass through Dillon.

There aren't too many breakfast places in Dillon. But this place has excellent huckleberry pancakes. That was my breakfast and my husband had his usual chicken fried steak, biscuits and eggs. The center was a little doughy in the center, but I told the proprietor...MoreThank you so much..Brian

I just left a week long stint on an assignment in Dillon and one of our meals was food from Papa Ts. We all ordered pork chop sandwiches, which are perfectly battered and fried on a soft bun with loads of pickles, onions and mustard. Add to that their cottage fries and ranch, and it's a great meal.

We started off with the shrimp cocktail. Unfortunately our shrimp was completely over cooked and rubbery. I ordered a salad which had a good variety of veggies but the dressing was not very good. My husband ordered the clam chowder. It did not taste fresh and was probably out of a can.
We both ordered prime rib for our main course. The waitress told us the cooks forgot to cook the prime rib so it was not available. We decided to order steaks instead. A few moments later the waitress returned to let us know the cooks found a prime rib that had been cooked. Not sure what the confusion was however we went with the prime rib. We requested the meat to be cooked medium rare. Both of our prime ribs were cooked medium, not medium rare. The meat did taste good just a little over cooked for our liking.
Our waitress wasn't very friendly but she was pleasant.

Travelling south to Arizona it was a pleasant surprise to find a place to eat that was not the usual chain type restaurant. Fantastic Cocktails !! Locally Sourced, clean and natural food that tastes great and is great for you!
Popped in to have a beer and was I surprised. Well appointed establishment with crisp clean look, and very inviting. The service was bubbly and enticing to sit and relax and enjoy. Instead of the beer I sensed the opportunity for a great Martini and maybe a glass of good wine. I ended up eating dinner and was not disappointed. The Martini, the Pinot Noir, and dinner was great and I found my favorite place in Dillon, Montana.

We opened this restaurant as a homage to the delicious Muffaletta sandwich, enjoyed each time by my dad and I while vacationing in New Orleans, Louisiana. It was important to us to recreate the sandwich as closely as we could and bring it's unique flavor to the community we live in and appreciate so much; the town of Dillon, Montana. We also provide other menu items.
My daughter and I had lunch there yesterday. The restaurant is cozy, warm and inviting. It was our first time there, so we checked out the menu and both decided to have the Thursday special of Butter Chicken and Naan. NOT DISSAPPOINTED!! I normally leave new restaurants thinking I should have stayed home and just made this myself. Not here!! This was delicious, hot, and did I mention delicious??? Great atmosphere, great food, the Boba tea was a fun treat, and the naan was delightfully light, chewy and crisp all at the same time. We will definitely be going back. A co-worker said the naan grilled cheese is to die for. I don't doubt it. The prices are reasonable, even though some would say portion sizes are a little on the small side. I left satisfied with both the cost and the amount of food. Did I mention the food is delicious??
