Cilantro Restaurant & Lounge was opened in 2011 with objective of changing the perception of Indian Food in Northern Nigeria.
It's disappointing when a good place tends towards average and bad, Cilantro has an iconic status for Indian food in Kano, but the current trip was very disappointing, the service was non existent, the manager decided it was ok to have loud conversations in the...MoreExtremely sorry for not living to your expectations sir. Must be a bad day for us. The issues mentioned have been noted and are being addressed. We assure you of a better experience next time.

I saw few negative review from the people about this resturant .
I am surprised for the negative review .
This is the only Indian resturant in Kano with a swimming pool for the guests .
A designated play area for the kids .
A good snooker room for chilling .
Private dinning for parties and meeting .
Price is quite affordable , as compared to the quality of the authentic Indian taste .
I recommend who ever visits Kano have a visit to the resturant .
If you are disappointed with the services , u can call the owner Mr Diwakar directly on
+234 815 481 2006 and I assure you he will be the best host .
I am writing this review as I have experienced it when I visit Kano .
The owner Mr Diwakar also can serve as guide to you in case you need any help .

A New Restaurant in Kano Town, with a great ambience and quality food to please you.
The Corner is in fact two corners in one; co-located with enough space between the two to offer an additional open air sit-down. The 3-in-1 location is ideal for family getaways providing privacy as needed and yet big enough to host not too large crowds....MoreThanks for your kind review sir

I was informed about this place and decided to try it our with family members. The service was fast and staff were very courteous. We ordered 2 pizzas- a chicken one with thick base and a shrimp one with thin crust. The shrimp one was brilliant but I observed that chicken one had probably too much cheese as all the toppings slid off the bread. The pricing was reasonable.

A new addition to the fine dining options in Kano. Located at Kano's famous Tahir Guest Palace, Cilantro continues to change the perception of Indian Food in the Northern Nigeria.
I had lunch at Cilantro Tahir and it was great. The waiter was very pleasant and the food and yoghurt was awesome. I even have free wifi which is much faster than the hotel wifi, so I was able to get some work done. Thanks for your kind review, we are happy U liked the food and service.
