The Red Cottage is a great little favorite of locals for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is served all day and is a bargain.
It has an extensive menu of eggs, omelettes, Benedict’s, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, and more.
This institution is very casual, with friendly service.
Nothing fancy. Service is fast, food dependable. Corned beef hash is a specialty!

My wife and I tried this restaurant for breakfast for the first time and we were very pleased. The corn beef hash was some of the best I've had. The service was excellent and extremely friendly. Great place!

The Old Yarmouth Inn offers classic cuisine for the next generation; the best in fresh local fish, shellfish, steaks and pasta. Whether you are looking for a casual meal in our cozy wood paneled tavern or a view of our gardens from the dining room, once you have experiencedThe Old Yarmouth Inn's delightful menu, warm, friendly staff and awesome wine selection you will know why we have become one of the most popular dining destinations on the Cape
Had a GREAT dinner at the Old Yarmouth Inn in Yarmouth Port on Cape Cod after work on the middle Tuesday in January 2018 with best friends and family. I wandered in by myself near the appointed hour and was immediately made to feel welcome by the hostess who knew just where to vector me to join the others. Thank you, young lady.
We barely made the six o'clock cut off for the Three Couse Prix Fixe Menu for January 2018 only to be told by great waitress Dani that it was good all night that evening. She went on to provide sterling service to our small affinity group throughout our stay, greatly enhancing the experience. She is a true professional. Thank you, Dani.
Three of us ordered chowder to start and then the baked seafood trio: two really jumbo shrimps, three luscious sea scallops and four forkfuls of fine white fish, Coastal Haddock the menu says. One of us had it the way it is offered, the other subbing extra veggies for the rice and I had mine with without the tasty crumbs and subbing double veggies (delish Brussel sprouts) for the rice. All three plates came the way we asked for them and went back to the kitchen bereft of even a crumb. Thank you, Chef.
For dessert, included, of course, I had a very generous serving of orange sorbet, which went down slow and cold, a taste extravaganza for my ancient taste buds.
It was very hard to leave this happy place, warmed by live fireplaces, and go out into the night and dark and January cold. I look very much forward to returning. It would be nice to see you here then. Ask for one of Dani's tables. She is that good!
Thank you, Apard P. Voros and Sheila M. Fitzgerald for maintaining the great traditions of a country inn, this one established in 1696, a mere 76 years after the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock just up the coast a bit.

Classic and creative Italian fare with unrivaled flavor.
After researching area restaurants in the Yarmouth area, I came across this restaurant which had many favorable reviews. We were visiting in the off season so we had no problems getting a seating. We were thoroughly impressed with our dinner at Gerardi’s. We loved the atmosphere of the cafe. We ordered wine, an antipasto, a cod piccata special, homemade gnocchi with sweet sausage and meatball, and butterscotch creme brûlée. Everything was mouth watering delicious including the warm bread and oil and crostinis brought to our table before the dinner. We can’t wait to go back. Dreaming about another delicious meal there....

The first thing you learn when vacationing in the Boston/Cape Cod area is how many quality restaurants there are to behold. The second thing is you better like seafood. Viera, located at 11 Route 28 in West Harwich, Massachusetts, on Cape Cod, is considered one of the top 10 restaurants on the Cape. Probably because chef Benjamin Porter serves some wonderful seafood dishes and some out-of-the-Cape desserts. We started with fresh clam chowder, Classic Caesar salad and a house-made Charcuterie Board with meats, pickles, breads and jams. For entrees, my wife chose sauteed Cape sea scallops over pan seared local codfish and Italian sausage pasta while I opted for pan seared North Atlantic halibut over sauteed organic salmon and poached local lobster. Dessert was a treat. There were several tasty and tempting options and we finally decided to share roasted strawberry and coconut panna cotta and almond streusel with strawberry Sambuca sorbet. That certainly beats vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce. There are so many varieties of seafood available in New England and it is interesting to see why local chefs choose one fish from another and how they prepare them. At Viera, you don't have to choose seafood--but you should.

While visiting Cape Cod, we stopped for a late breakfast at this place mainly because of the great reviews on Trip Advisor! We were not disappointed. We both had one of the full-breakfast offerings - the portions were very generous, the food arrived very quickly and it had just been made - perfect. The dining area was packed, but we were accommodated at the counter. It is also VERY noisy - but, it is a café after all.

Fin,chef owned and located in the heart of Dennis Village, serves creative, contemporary seafood and more. We feature the best in locally sourced food including oysters from Dennis and produce, in season, from numerous farms across the Cape like CapeAbilities, Surrey Farm and Cape Cod Organics. We are on 6A in a 200 plus year old house with dining up and downstairs and conveniently next door to the Cape Playhouse complex. The menu changes seasonally to showcase the areas offerings and while our focus is primarily on seafood we also offer organic beef and poultry.
Our dinner, with another couple (locals who knew this place from several prior visits) was all that one could ask for. The entrees were outstanding, the appetizers very interesting (our shared dessert was just ok though). The service was pleasant and prompt. There were a couple of items accompanying my entrée as listed on the menu that I could not eat but the chef agreed to make the requested changes....that does not always happen in fine dining restaurants so I was grateful. Not only that but we ate in a downstairs room and though there were diners at the other tables, it was not noisy -- never had a problem hearing the others at our table. I give this place my highest recommendation.

Had a great meal Friday afternoon right after work with a great friend at the Royal II Restaurant & Grille in Yarmouth, Massachusetts on Friday the Thirteenth. This was my first visit but surely not my last. Everything was great, food, service, prices. Hope to see you here when I come back.
I asked the incredibly busy manager about their other restaurant in the heart of Dennis Port, Royal Pizza; he answered with one word, "seasonal," meaning it was closed for the... Will put them on the plate list for next year, for sure.
I had the large Royal Supreme Salad for almost sixteen bucks; it resembled a Cobb salad with Italian flourishes. To rekindle fond memories of my visits to Greek restaurants in a galaxy far, far away, I ordered some lamb gyro meat as a salad topper instead of the typical shrimp, chicken or expensive lobster. We couldn't find gyros on the menu so this was just a taste bud tease. I was charged four bucks for the Greek meat and perhaps an extra buck for blue cheese dressing--worth all 100 cents of it. Plate went back to the kitchen clean.
Portions are generous. Dining mate brought leftovers home.
You get more than a meal here, you get an experience. While reading the menus the manager brought us small slices of plain pizza, very yummy in the tummy. It temped my enjoyer to override my life extension healthier salad order and go with the comfort food invented by the Italians (or was it the Chinese). I suffered through the rest of my meal watching the waitresses carrying other orders to other tables. EVERYTHING looked great! It is a very extensive menu and I am sure you will be able to find more than one thing you'd like to eat.
The manager also brought us a small cup of warm rice? pudding with cinnamon on top after the meal. What a great way to end a great meal. Except it wasn't the end. While we were waiting for the credit card to transact the manager also brought us shot glasses of a deliciously sweet dessert liquor. Wow. Thank you, Mr. Royal Manager.

Not a large place and you may have to wait to get in, and cash only. It is worth it. Food was great and service friendly and quick. They do have some vegetarian options (don't believe they are vegan). Were very accommodating as our group had both breakfast and lunch orders. Really enjoyed it so went back for a second day.
