The menu is now delightfully varied and the special winter menu began January 11. This menu looks really good, but we both decided to have the Roasted Chicken Supreme. It was absolutely delicious. We were seated in a quiet area, which was very nice. The wine list is extensive with a variety of prices. I will definitely keep going back!

We recently had a belated Valentine's Day lunch here and were hoping for a very special experience. We were not disappointed! All of the staff we encountered were efficient, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. We enjoyed above average service from Sarah, who made sure that the restrictions of being on a gluten free diet were adhered to. Training is obvious, and there seems to be great communication between the kitchen and what is going on in the dining room. Each course was presented in such a wonderful way, works of art really, with so many layers to discover. The chicken liver parfait appetizer was out of this world, as was the semifreddo dessert. The duck breast and the heritage pork were also cooked to perfection, and enjoyed with wonderful wines by the glass. We loved the atmosphere in the dining room, the views of the garden and the overall experience. It was worth every penny! We will definitely be back.

This place has been around for a long time and I had never visited it. My mental image of the place was completely and pleasantly wrong. We ordered two sandwiches with fries and they were really good, a decent selection of craft brews to choose from. We were served by two waitresses depending on who was behind the bar (we sat at the bar) and both were fairly attentive.

Table was full of sugar or salt and had not been wiped down. Chichen Quesadia was very greasy. Chicken fingers were absoluetly horrible in tasteless cardboard batter. Western Sandwich was about one egg thick, Hot hamburger dinner was tasteless. Even the french fries were tastelss and had a funky oil taste to them. Not one person in our group enjoyed our meal. Really don't know what the hype is about at this restuarant. Have been for breakfast, and it's pretty sub par and tasteless also. Should have known dinner would be much of the same. Save your money and go elsewhere. This is not tastely home cooking by far. Will not return

Had 7:00 pm Reservations on Friday night and were quickly seated. There was quite a queue of people waiting for a table, so I would suggest making a reservation if visiting on the weekend.
The restaurant has a classic steak house feel: dim lighting, dark millwork and a fireplace; very nice. Our waitress was prompt, efficient and very friendly.
We all had steaks (of course), and all five of us were happy, Steaks were cooked to order and were served hot and well seasoned. Garlic mashed and twice baked potatoes were also excellent. Veggies were quite unspectacular, as was the calamari the table shared as an appetizer to start.
All in all, an excellent, if not a little over priced meal.

me and my friend have been regulars to this little cottage cafe and we had a lovely saturday brunch recently.
the meals were worth value for money and the staff was very accommodating! their debit machine was not working as the construction across had caused the cable to disconnect and the staff was extremely apologetic due to the inconvenience caused which we appreciated greatly.
we love supporting local businesses and hope this tiny cottage gets all the support and love it deserves!
we are aware that one of the owners is terminally ill and wish him all the best and hopes he recovers all these obstacles!

I went hoping to have lamb but found out it was not Canadian lamb. Not a very good variety on the menu. Opted for gnocci? Not too impressed expensive dumplings. The bread and oil were very nice but the food is overpriced for what you are getting. Could have had steak somewhere else for that price. It was really rushed ... we arrived and had drinks quickly which was nice. When they dropped off the bread within 2 minutes the meal was there already. Never had time to enjoy the bread. We got water and the tap water was either served in a chlorinated washed glass or the water was highly chlorinated. Not something you would expect for fine dinning. Not sure I would go again. Not worth the money,

I have eaten at Mango Chutney many times but have never reviewed it. First I must say that the food is amazing. It was because of this that I decided to buy lunch for three and transport it to London, Ontario to share with a new Mum. I was quite prepared to pick up my order the night before and reheat when I got to London but when I suggested that was what I was going to do, Sonny (the owner) said they would make it fresh for me in the morning and I could pick it up on my way to London. This was suggested even though they were not officially open at my departure time. Now that is what I call customer service.
I ordered Vegetable samosas, Rajmah Di Tiki (kidney bean patties with a mixture of spices and filled with mango chutney), Channa Pindi (a chickpea dish cooked with spices and ginger) and Dal Makhani (lentils cooked with fresh ground spices) - the last two dishes came with Naan and Basmati Rice.
We all enjoyed all the dishes. Try them, you won't be disappointed.
