New Westminster is a historically important city in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia, Canada, and is a member municipality of the Greater Vancouver Regional District. It was founded by Major-General Richard Moody as the capital of the new-born Colony of British Columbia in 1858, and continued in that role until the Mainland and Island Colonies were merged in 1866, and was the Mainland's largest city from that year until it was passed in population by Vancouver during the first decade of the 20th Century.

The search for something to do in New Westminster after dark, or in my case after rehearsal, continues. This place is advertised as having live music every night. Dropped by on the way home, found the music not to my taste, but nevertheless hard driving rock.Folsom Prison Blues was surprisingly good. But, please check the website to make sure the genre(s) you like are playing the night you wish to go.Friendly service, good beer, clean restroom. I'll try it again when an R&B group is in-house

Upscale Casual Dining with 24 taps of craft beer and wine. Located in the Shops at New West Station Skytrain level just above Safeway.
Haven't enjoyed my previous experiences here, but a friend said we should go because it has good parking; so we did. Arrived for a late lunch to find we could sit just about anywhere, but the window tables had uncomfortable seats, so we sat in a booth.Great service (should have got the young ladies name, sorry) was more than offset by the incessant noise which management must think passes for music that permeates the premises. While I enjoyed my (pricey but delicious) hamburger my two colleagues did not enjoy their selections. As we were about to leave, the TGIF crowd was starting to arrive - Perhaps THIS is the type of customer this venue is designed for.In summary: want loud music and good beer - go here. Want a quiet enjoyable lunch - go elsewhere.

We came here during a UFC fight night event. My brothers always go here for these events. My first time, and the food was great. The service was stellar. Our server was Nicole, and she anticipated ahead of time every refill, and came by regularly to check up on us. I would totally return and recommend.Hello, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with a review of your experience. Great atmosphere here with the ability to watch multiple games at the same time. The food is quite good and the servers are friendly. I would recommend this as a regular stop.

This location is very busy from noon to about 3:00pm. I ordered the Modern Bowl With Salmon. It had Tabbouleh, Pineapple Salsa, roasted Cauliflower and Broccoli, Tomatoes, Cucumber, fresh Greens, Jasmine Rice, Miso Carrot Ginger sauce and a piece of Glazed Salmon on top. This meal was very tasty for a healthy menu option. The flavours of the Salmon, Miso Carrot Ginger Sauce and Jasmine Rice complimented each other well. The Veggies were cooked perfectly. I enjoyed this meal.Service was very efficient and prices were reasonable.Thank you for taking the time to leave us a positive review. We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your Salmon Modern Bowl, it is definitely one of our favourites too. :)We look forward to seeing you again soon!Kindly,Jordyn Cozzuol, Manager, Coquitlam

If you like cold beer and pub food this is the place for you. If you want a little history of the area grab a drink and wonder through the pub and read. Service is good but it does take time for the food to come. I had the steak pita wrap. the steak was good but the rest of the filling is limited. I would definitely return because of the ambiance. New Westminister has a neat history which is honoured by this pub.Thank you for your great review, we are happy that you enjoyed your experience with us! We take pride in the level of service and quality our amazing staff provides to our customers. Hope to see you again soon!

The Boathouse was our favourite restaurant. We went every weekend. Over (a considerable) time both the quality of the food and service declined to the point where we didnât wish to visit. Very unfortunate, as the river views were gorgeous from the restaurant. We had been customers for perhaps 3-4 years, and traditionally dine out Saturdays. The gossip (unconfirmed) was that it had become a training facility & hence the reduction in quality.
