This is a roadside establishment off of the beaten path. I was cruising around and was glad to find a place to eat. The interior is nicely appointed. This place seems to be a fusion of a roadhouse, a cafe and a neighborhood bar. I say this all in a positive light!
The chuck burger and fried were excellent and the staff is friendly and attentive! Stop in and enjoy!

We had the Reuben Sandwich, Fish and Chips (no lie), Artichoke Dip, and wow-wow -wow Elk Stew!!! The pictures are from the patio complete with a fire pit... so cozy. Oh and biggest tip we have left in a long time-- wait staff earned every bit of it!!

Stopped in for lunch on way to Mt. Princeton Resort. Had fish & chips. Waited 20+ minutes for basic fried food. The fish served was greasy deep-fried "logs" of chewy whitefish. At least fries were good. Very disappointing preparation of an idiot-proof fast food entree. Cost was $12. Better off with a fish sandwich as McD's.

Locally owned and operated, Crow Hill Cafe offers breakfast all day and lunch. Stop by for a delicious coffee or bite to eat! Our easy on/off access to US 285 makes us an excellent option for mountain-goers.
Nestled out of site off of Highway 285 just before you get into Bailey, it is easy to miss the Crow Hill Café. Don't! The food here is uber-fresh and your dish is made AFTER you order it, so don't be in a big hurry. It is a local café that has the best of all that good local cafés have to offer: homemade bread, cookies and pastries, casual friendly service, the smell of the always-on grill, the locals greeting each other...you know this café if you grew up in a small town. We didn't have a chance to try their homemade biscuits, because they are made daily, and when they run out, they run out. On our first visit last year, we both had the BLT with double bacon and it was simple goodness. On this trip, I had the grilled veggie wrap, which was quite good, and my husband had a grilled ham and cheese with crunchy fresh slaw on the side. The portions are large. Try the fresh-squeezed lemonade for a sweet/tart taste sensation. And maybe snag an individually wrapped brownie or a cookie for the rest of your road trip when you pay at the register.
Warning - the restaurant is very, very busy during breakfast and lunch and you should be ready to "sit a spell", as my grandmother used to say. Don't worry, it will be worth it. And get this - we spent less than we did last week when, in a hurry, we succumbed to the convenience of Whataburger. Really.

Hog Heaven offers some of the best ribs I've ever had. In fact, I've gone there probably 20 times, and I think I've ordered something else maybe twice. I'm a big fan of spicy foods, but I actually like their mild sauce better. I think it has a nicer flavor.
The restaurant is pretty small. Maybe 4-5 tables and some counter space. It's got a rustic feel.
The service is always friendly, but that's true pretty much anywhere in Bailey.

As a follow-up to an earlier review, I have started going early for their breakfast burritos. They are a great bargain for a very good product.
Choices include hot spicy Italian, bacon, pork and potato, and sausage burritos. They are made fresh and are very flavorful.
The "take and bake" pizzas are a good value also so give them a try.

This little gem offers an internet cafe, old-fashioned knotty pine soda fountain, and variety store. Fabulous ice cream, malts, burgers, etc.! Fishing stuff, local info., and quaint, relaxing charm! Jump off your road trip to refresh HERE, where the locals chat and snack!

The food is good. Thai and chinese with better than average vegetable such as baby bok choi. The atmosphere is OK. Clean and near the bar. The service is minimal. You get your food quickly but not much checking in after that which is tolerable for the most part. There was 1 waiter there a few months ago that could be very rude. I haven't seen him lately though. Overall the food is worth it!
