Stopped at Pierson Orchards with my wife while out driving and looking at Fall colors. Past it and turned around and went back. They had a wonderful selection of pumpkins, gourds, etc. They also have a bakery. Bought some Cider and when we got home tried it. It is very good.

The White's have transformed their home into a Yule time delight. The entire home (and yard) has been decorated with lights, Santa, Angels, choirs and Nativity all blended in a most respectful manner without being gaudy. Mr. White programs a music series (15 different songs each night) then synchronizes the lights to match. There is plenty of room for parking. Viewers can receive the music on their radios (89.1 FM). There is also a 100 year old sled (like Santa's) that visitors are welcome to sit it and take pictures. This attraction is open from the day after Thanksgiving through New Years. A lot of preparation has gone into the program so one can arrive at anytime during the display, listen to the songs and leave at their own convenience. Donations are accepted BUT NOT REQUIRED. Any donations are given to local charities. It is about 30 minutes from Grand Rapids but worth the trip. And they add new items each year. This year it was a very tall Christmas tree decorated with large snowmen.

I live in Grand Rapid and went with a group of 8 adults (friends & family). Some had gone zip lining in more tropical locations, others (including myself) was the first time ever. We all loved it and had a blast! The staff was great and very welcoming. I would highly recommend this to anyone!!

I have never camped here but visit a lot. We kayak or take the non-motorized boat and fish. I also like to hike around the lake, the trails are very nice. My granddaughter enjoys the beach. They also have disc golf. It's beautiful in the fall.

This is a nice county park with lots to do all year around. There are two buildings you can use for weddings or parties. Restrooms and water available. The Bear Creek runs thru the park and it is a magnet for kids to play in. There are several playgrounds in the park for kids of all ages. Picnic tables and area for the families to gather are located in all sections of the park. It is a great place to go to in all seasons with hiking trails, cross country trails, and plenty of parking., The park is free to use except for rental of thee buildings. It is well maintained by Kent County.

Tons of crazy fun with Hands-on Farm, Wildlife Safari Tours, HUGE play areas, and HOMEMADE Ice Cream! See Website for more details!
This is far the cleanest animal place I have ever been. They have a picnic and play area outside the facility. Inside the main building is a gift shop and ice cream area. The smell of homemade waffle cones was amazing. They had large stuffed animals and some wooden saddles you could sit on for photos. I can't express how nice this place is and how clean the whole area is. We bought our tickets and we got the do it all combo so it is about $20 for an adult and that is rounding it up and kids 2 and under are free. We went out to the hands on area where they had goats, pigs, donkeys, bunnies and birds. They had several 2 week old baby goats that were out running and jumping around. They were so darn cute! You could sit and play with them and hold them. Same with the rabbit area you could hold the new baby bunnies and pet the larger ones. In that area they had birds you could hand feed or feed from a stick. Also you were given a container of food to feed the larger animals. We didn't get a chance to pet the donkeys, they stayed back but that is ok, the baby goats were so worth it. Then in another area there are deer and elk. You were able to feed them through a fence, they were about 1 year old if I remember right. We were also lucky enough to be able to pet a fawn through the fence, which is amazing and rare since they are so flighty!
Then in the do it all package you can feed either a goat or an elk, we chose the elk. So we went into the pen at our scheduled feeding time and fed from a bottle a 2 week old elk. Amazing again and the information we learned from the employees were beyond what we could imagine, they really knew their facts. You could tell the care for the animals were loving.
Then they have a stagecoach that is pulled by a tractor and that takes you on a tour around the farm for the larger and older animals. It included deer, elk, reindeer and yaks. The oldest deer there was 14 or 15. Again the tour is conducted by the owner and all the information we learned on that ride was out of this world. We made a couple of stops where we got off and fed the elks and then anyone that wanted could take photos holding antlers. The older deer, we were allowed to go into their pen and pet them. The reindeer and yaks we fed and then we watched the yaks race, which the kids on the tour adored and cheered. It was really neat and this is the kind of place you could go back over and over.

Grattan Raceway is a wonderful two mile roadrace course. They have long been home to SCCA racing and all kinds of track days for groups like the Ducati Owners and others.
We raced there in a vintage motocross. We loved the fact they put on a BBQ for us and that they had a swimming pool. Nothing better at the end of a long day racing than soaking!
Lots of club racing here, lots of track days. The locals are really lucky. So whether you are a spectator, a club racer or a pro, they have something for you!

I have golfed many different courses this year and Glenkerry is in better condition than any other course in the area. The club house staff are always friendly and quick to help. I enjoy the fact that they have electric carts instead of gas. The course is very well done and has it's fair share of challenging holes. Great course at a great price.
