Capo Zafferano

What an extraordinary place this is. Breathtaking views from the capo zafferano onto Porticello and Trabia. A place to revisit. Quiet, away from the tourists, multiple terraces via one can choose to sit yes or no in the sun. Ideally situated rooms that make it possible to create some wind through the house so that it is cooled off at the end of a sunny day. Lunch or dinner at Porticello, 10 minutes drive away at the coast. Splendid!

My wife and I visited for 30 mins on Saturday evening and really enjoyed the space, the art and catting with the owner who took the time to show us around.
We liked the art of marc zanghi - the exhibition was just finishing.
If you are in the area it is well worth a look.

Living in such Palazzo or Villa is a dream becoming true! Thanks to the lovely and dynamic Princess Alliata who welcomes her guests with such grandeur and simplicity.
The feeling, the ambiance and the aristocratic touch make all the difference. Magnificent old Palace very well restaured and maintained.
View overlooking Mediterranean Sea from the terrasse remind you all the stories about Sicilia Kingdom which is something different from Italy
Might this aristocratic and old Sicilian Family keep traditions and power for the forthcoming centuries.
Thank you Vittoria

Corso Umberto I

Reviewed By rcsmit - Paris, France

The Corso Umberto I is the setting of the film Baaria with Magereth Made. In the film it's a very nostalgic settting, in reality it is rebuilt with a lot of buildings in modern style (and some really ugly). Of course it's all about the view on the Madrice de Bagheria just like in the movie . The center is (was) not indicated from the railstation, so be prepared before you go !
